Education and outreach

The World Ocean Observatory
The World Ocean Observatory is a place of exchange for ocean information, education and public discourse about the future of the ocean and its implication for human survival. LMGM provides a range of strategies to advance its message, including topical websites, online events and exhibitions, web documentaries, YouTube and online radio.

   

 

International Polar Year
The International Polar Year is a large scientific programme involving an international collaboration of over 60 nations focused on the Arctic and the Antarctic from March 2007 to March 2009.

International Science School
In July 2007, 140 high school students from across the world gathered at the University of Sydney for the 34th Harry Messel International Science School, ecoscience, comprising two weeks of scientific lectures, activities and social events with a focus on the environment and ecological science.
